Hey Babes

what is Newgrounds up to? I just realized that I can front-page post again!

Also here are some pics from when I lived in Korea for a while last year

The cost of living there was very cheap, and I was able to eat out every day.

And I regularly performed standup comedy at a couple of open mics.

the top of my apartment in Korea that only cost 250$ a month

felt really good to live there, I felt alive.

I lived right next to the subway station for Sinchon, near the big university and the womens uni.

there was a place that did full on one of the best ramens I've ever had for like 3$

I loved it there and really miss it.

I'll probably move back there in a couple of months tho. Also stay tuned for some more korea pic posts

Also just wanted to say thanks to TOM FULP, thanks to FRO, and thanks to CAM!

Been missing NG a bit lately... I use the site a lot but kinda stopped posting, I'll try to change that a bit..

@HenryEYES The extended year long visa, you can get a month long tourist visa on arrival here for 35 usd and then extend it for a year

Holy craps, i might have to go there then! Either there or the philipines.

How is it there so far? Is it safe? How is your apartment?

You’re the worst user on ng!

Its true ;_;

@HenryEYES Oh the extension is like 400 bucks or something tho, But yeh I haven't been to phnom penh but where I am its pretty safe.
It's nice but I have mostly been inside animating lol. My apartment is nice it's like a one bedroom apartment
There are land mines, But in the city it's fine, def no land mines in the city.
I was annoyed by the landmines cuz I wanted to explore the temples and jungles on my own.
The abandoned temples,
but the abandoned ones and jungles may have mines.

it is a bit touristy where I am.

It's crazy how those asian countries can look so developed and expensive, yet not cost really that much after all.
I pay way more and the city I'm living in isn't that nice.

Its true, its just a difference in economy

cool pics

iphone camera rocks

HenryEYES died in 2020, YouTube told me so. Who are you?

an imposter, now give me your credit card info!

Surprised that it was cheap cuz I hear that East Asian countries have high living costs, but damn South Korea looks nice, one of the many places I wanna travel too lol

At last, I finally found your NG

been Hiding in plain sight

Amazing 3$ ramen hmm... I've gotta get to Korea!

It looks nice. And surprisingly peaceful, despite the big city architecture...

I'm still there, it's really nice here, but kinda lonely... I had an NG friend move in with me, but in a month we will both be moving to Thailand where English is more widely spoken.

Oh! Thailand's a country I've considered too, for the cheap living expenses more than the language, but I wonder if it really still is as cheap as when I first started considering it, seems I'm far from the only one who is.

Will be interesting to read your report on it, if you do one of these there too. It seems amazing, and the people so nice. A little riskier with the food tho.

Hope the move goes well! 🙏

Extremely belated feedback: I enjoyed your photos showing off an empty city. "The "busy" world without its people" has kind of a unsettling Sci-Fi quality to it.

damn, i never really noticed until now, I guess it's because I took them at dawn
